Who can use PayBright?

You must be the age of majority of the province or territory you reside in, and must have a valid history of credit in Canada.

How do I sign up for PayBright?

 PayBright is intergrated with our checkout process on this website. Simply select PayBright as your payment method when you checkout and fill out our quick application for an instant decision.

How can I Prequalify?

You can find out if you prequalify now through our quick online application. Prequalifying shows you a preview of how much you could spend if you were to purchase with a PayBright payment plan. The application is quick, instant and does not impact your credit score!

Does PayBright check my credit?

It depends! We do an instant credit check with a bureau (such as Equifax or TransUnion) if you are paying in Easy Monthly Payments or if you are using a PayBright Virtual Card.

We don’t do a hard credit check when you prequalify or when you Pay in 4 with our bi-weekly payment plan!

Tip: If you are applying for a Pay Monthly plan through multiple retailers, each application will be subject to a credit check.

Will prequalifying affect my credit?

Nope! There won’t be a hard hit when you simply prequalify.

We only do a credit check with a bureau (such as Equifax or TransUnion) if you decide to complete your transaction with PayBright.

Can I pay for part of my online purchase using another method of payment?

Yes you most certainly can. Give us a call and we will help organize it for you 1-800-429-7728

Why am I being asked to apply again after I've prequalified?

If you already have an active account and a valid spending limit with your desired merchant, and you wish to place a new order with a PayBright plan, simply choose PayBright as your preferred payment method at checkout on our website. You will then be prompted to fill out a similar application form to the one you initially completed to create the account. This allows us to find your account!

Please ensure that the details you enter are identical to your initial approved application.

Rest assured that your credit file will not be checked again as long as your approval is still valid.

Why was I declined for a payment plan?

We’re sorry that we couldn’t approve you for a payment plan at this time. Our decision is based on several factors. Some of the most common ones being; insufficient credit history, or a history of late payments (both with PayBright and other financial institutions).

Please don’t be discouraged! We hope you’ll consider us again in the future as you build your credit file.
