The Go-Go Ultra X motorized scooter is great for getting around indoors as well as taking trips to the mall and grocery store. Perhaps the best part of this scooter is the lock mechanism that allows you to break it down into individual parts with just one hand. This feature is useful if you travel often and have to assemble and disassemble the scooter on your own.
This medical scooter breaks down into five pieces, and the heaviest piece weighs 34 pounds, so it’s convenient to pack into a vehicle. With the battery installed, it weighs a total of 75 pounds. Only the Luggie is lighter when fully assembled. It’s lightweight enough that you take it on public transportation without feeling exhausted. The scooter comes with a basket you can use to carry additional items, and you can purchase additional parts on the company’s website.
The scooter has a luxurious deep-cushioned stadium seat that folds and can be stored in small car trunks. It also has delta tiller handles that offer support to riders with limited hand dexterity. Unlike high-end scooters with weight capacities of 300 pounds, the Ultra X’s weight capacity is just 300 pounds. This means it can comfortably support most users but is still limiting. With an adjustable tiller and armrests, you can customize the scooter to best fit you.
It has a drop-in battery pack, which makes it easy to use and a good option for elderly riders. There’s also a convenient off-board dual-voltage charger you can use to charge your battery pack on- or off-board, so you don’t have to unload your scooter from your vehicle or its storage spot. The scooter takes between eight and 14 hours to charge. With a short operating range and a long charge time, this scooter performs best on short errands or driving around the house.
The power scooter’s turning radius is 52.25 inches, which means it can turn virtually any corner, and with a width of 19.5 inches, it can fit into most tight spaces inside your home. Its maximum speed is 4.1 mph, which is fast enough to use indoors and on short trips around town. You can travel about 8.9 miles per battery charge, so if you rely heavily on your scooter for long-distance outdoor use, consider whether this is a large enough range.
Pride Mobility includes a standard warranty for this scooter. The frame is covered for three years, while the drive train and electronic components are covered for two years. The company also provides a six-month warranty on the scooter battery.

Called the office and spoke to Richard this morning. My ZooMe Auto Flex scooter was in the folded position with no battery in place. I could not, for the life of me, figure how to unfold it manually in order to put in a battery and charge it up. Richard solved my problem in literally 30 seconds! I like this GO GO scooter very much. I appreciate that it is easy to take apart into 5 pieces which then fit into my rather small car trunk. The weight of each piece is manageable for my wife. The only difficulty I have is control the speed at the start, it responds often in a jerky spurt like of way.
I have Parkinsons disease, trouble with walking, and it serves me well. I hope it will do so without any problems for a long time.
At this point I would buy it again.

I take care of my disabled brother so I had to be able to assemble and disassemble this scooter in and out of my Camry trunk. It breaks down to 4 main pieces. (it says 5 but one is the embarrassingly small basket!) I am 67 but was able to get it in and out plus put it together. It has a lot of pep, especially compared to WalMart’s carts! My brother ran it on turtle his first time out. It seems very well made and is comfortable. We bought a bigger wire basket to mount on the back so he could go off on his own in the store. I definitely recommend this product!

I have checked a lot of scooters for my husband’s disability. Others look like they will fall apart. Others look strong but are very heavy.
This is lighter than others, yet it is strong, stable and secured.
Getting it in and out the trunk of our car takes me about a minute or 2 only to detach and to load all 5 parts.
The battery can last for up to 10 -15 hours.
Con 1- the seat is not as comfortable. My husband has gotten so thin that the bone of his butt hurts when sitting for a long time. The back is also not high enough to lean, especially if you are tall.
But all other scooters are this way anyway. And others are even much much worse.
Con 2- the battery indicator has about 6 bulbs (I think) which light from green to red (right to left). Problem is it will stay green for a long time, and the minute it gets to 5 bulbs, it suddenly drops to red.
So you have to be aware of how long you have used the scooter already instead of relying on the battery indicator.
In any case, you should always charge the battery full after every use.
Con 3 – the volume of the horn is too soft – that when we are in a nosiy mall, it’s quite useless.
But all the cons I listed don’t really bother us… just thought that others should know.
