After 12 years as a daily driver the Scout 4 wheel had some cosmetic issues. The tiller pivot finally wore out and we chose to replace the scooter at Scooter Country. The price was less than it was 12 years ago. It is a bit awkward to load in a vehicle but we managed relatively easily for about 11 years before we obtained a light power chair that we use for car trips. The new Scout will be used in house only. It is much more maneuverable than a power chair with a joy stick control in tight spaces. Overall the Scout is an incredible design that has not changed in 12 years except now available in Canada. There was a small issue with the battery box that was difficult to open. I haven’t checked to see if that has been improved. It required a very long screwdriver. One other issue was the deck separated after many years but that was an easy home repair with short carriage bolts.

Great little scooter. Just the right size for transporting in your trunk. It is a bit under powered for going up moderate inclines but does just fine on the flat surfaces.

This scooter has given me back something I was sure thinking was gone forever… my mobility. Over the last few years, walking medium to long distances has become too hard. My husband takes this apart in about 2 minutes and lifts in back of his pickup or the car trunk and away we go. It takes him about 2 minutes to have it together again. It has become useful in the barn as well. So happy I got the 4 wheel instead of three. It doesn’t tip and turns sharp corners. We out it between our 2 vehicles where there is a plug for charging. We have booked an upcoming trip within Canada I am very excited to take on. While not a negative for me at this time, it does ride rough over bumpy terrain. I overall love my machine.

Great product. I love it!

The spitfire scout was a great choice for me as I recently went through surgery and needed something thats easy to handle, and can assemble and disassemble easily. Nothing fit that request better than this machine, given the price. The only downside I could find was how much you felt the sidewalk due to how low it is to the ground. If that does not bother you, then this is what you would need. Overall, I am very happy with this unit.

Great scooter, assembly and disassembly is easy and lightweight for my wife to load and unload our SUV. Battery life is phenomenal and 4 wheel design is very stable. American companies offer it cheaper but charges $59 for inside delivery. Happy with this scooter’s looks, price and performance.

Very good for the price. The turn radius is a little difficult at some points. At a theme park it’s hard to ride it through the lines that twist and turn. The disassemble and reassemble is very simple and easy to understand. I drive a small car and it fits just fine. We do tend to leave the back wheel on while transporting. UPDATE; after 3 months we put the scooter and battery up but a couple weeks later remembered I should have been charging once a week. Forgot the battery pack itself doesn’t light when charging and thought it was dead. Turns out my battery stayed fully charged the whole time!
